With solid insulated ring main units (RMUs) included in Document No. 1285 of State Grid Corporation of China and the "12th Five-Year Plan" of State Grid Corporation of China, their development trend has attracted great attention from the industry. Meanwhile, this has brought favorable development opportunities for equipment manufacturing enterprises.
To further strengthen effective communication and exchange among equipment manufacturing enterprises, users, and the industry, the Science and Technology Service Center of China Electricity Council plans to establish the Professional Committee of Solid Insulated Ring Main Units. The committee aims to accelerate the promotion and application of solid insulated RMUs, enhance national brands, and formulate industry standards, thus deciding to formally establish the Professional Committee of Solid Insulated Ring Main Units.
The chairmanship unit of the Professional Committee of Solid Insulated Ring Main Units will concurrently serve as the secretariat, which will be rotated annually among the vice-chairmanship units. The first chairmanship and secretariat unit is Beijing Shuangjie Electric Co., Ltd., and the vice-chairmanship units include Shenyang Haocheng Electric Co., Ltd., Yangzhou New Concept Electric Co., Ltd., and Yunnan Honghe Electrical Equipment Co., Ltd.
Adhering to the tenet of "Jointly Building a Solid Industry and Contributing to a Green Power Grid", the committee will, in accordance with the relevant requirements of the National Power Transmission and Distribution Technology Cooperation Network, conduct in-depth discussions on the development direction of solid insulated RMUs, establish a diversified service platform for the industry and enterprises, promote the development of industry standards, jointly advance industrial development by leveraging industry resources and platforms, and provide comprehensive services such as product market and technical support for the industry and users.
