YBW-24kv Box type Substation

Product Overview
The YBW-24 type box-type substation (YBW-24 combined substation) is a compact power transformation and distribution device integrated with high-voltage switchgear, power transformers, low-voltage switchgear, electrical energy metering equipment, and reactive power compensation devices, all assembled in one or several enclosures. This product is divided into two major series: open-type and enclosed-type. The high-voltage section of the enclosed-type box-type substation adopts SF6 ring network power supply units. It features strong integrity, short installation cycle, small floor space, low investment, safe and reliable operation, attractive appearance, and easy coordination with the surrounding environment. The product utilizes SC series epoxy resin dry-type transformers (alternatively, oil-immersed power transformers can also be adopted) to achieve oil-free power supply. The YBW-24 type box-type substation is suitable for high-rise buildings, residential districts, industrial and mining enterprises, street lighting, and other applications, especially ideal for temporary construction power supply. According to user requirements, the product can be equipped with a microprocessor to monitor temperature, humidity, and condensation, with fault monitoring and memory functions. It also has current, voltage, and power display and recording capabilities, as well as a communication interface for networking with central computers to enable remote control.

· Operating Environmental Conditions

1. Altitude shall not exceed 2000m;

2. Ambient air temperature shall not be higher than +50℃ or lower than -30℃;

3. Wind pressure shall not exceed 700Pa (equivalent to a wind speed of 34m/s);

4. Seismic horizontal acceleration shall not exceed 0.4m/s², and vertical acceleration shall not exceed 0.2m/s²;

5. It shall be used in locations free from fire, explosion hazards, severe pollution, chemical corrosion, and violent vibration, with an inclination angle not greater than 30.

Note: If the above operating conditions cannot meet the application requirements, the user shall consult with the manufacturer.

· Product Structure

1. The product structure is divided into three independent compartments: high-voltage compartment, transformer compartment, and low-voltage compartment. According to the planar layout, the product has two structural forms: "Mu"-shaped (in-line) and "Pin"-shaped (triangle-shaped). The "Mu"-shaped structure is generally adopted, while the "Pin"-shaped structure is only used when there are a large number of low-voltage circuits.

2. The open-type box-type substation is fabricated by welding high-quality steel plates. The cabinet body adopts a double-layer structure around, and thermal insulation materials are installed in the interlayer of the cabinet top, which effectively reduces the indoor temperature rise caused by sunlight. Automatically controlled ventilation fans are installed at the bottom and top of the transformer compartment to ensure the transformer can operate safely at full load during high-temperature seasons.

3. The enclosed-type box-type substation is assembled with high-strength precast concrete panels and aluminum alloy doors/windows. Its volume generally does not exceed 15m³, featuring small size, high strength, corrosion resistance, and excellent thermal insulation performance.

4. Each compartment is equipped with an automatic lighting device. The transformer compartment is provided with rails and a transformer trolley, facilitating the installation and replacement of the transformer.
