- The FLN36-24/630-20 SF₆ High-Voltage Load Switch, FLRN36-24/125-31.5 SF₆ High-Voltage Load Switch - Combined Electrical Appliance, along with the models HVF6-24/T630-20 and HVF6-24RD/125-31.5, are new-generation products developed by Daya Electric Group to meet market demands. These are double-break rotary load switches that adopt sulfur hexafluoride (SF₆) gas as the insulation and arc-extinguishing medium, and are suitable for 24kV power distribution systems.
The switches can be installed either vertically or horizontally without restrictions. In ring main units, the typical installation method is horizontal mounting with a steel partition plate placed between the cable compartment and the busbar compartment. This installation method isolates the busbar from cable joints to meet the stringent safety requirements for operation and maintenance.
With the continuous advancement of national urban and rural power grid renovation and construction, the market demand for load switches, ring main units, compact switching stations, and prefabricated substations has been steadily increasing across the country. In response to this trend, our company initiated the research, development, and production of SF₆ load switches featuring stable performance, high technical parameters, full insulation, hermetic sealing, and maintenance-free operation in 2006. Building on this foundation, we have further designed the currently most advanced top and bottom unit modules for SF₆ load switches. These modules are priced in line with national market conditions and are fully capable of replacing imported products in terms of performance.
Thanks to their numerous advantages—including simple structure, maintenance-free operation, and reasonable pricing—the SF₆ load switches manufactured by Daya Electric Group have gained wide market acceptance.
