- At 3 p.m. on May 22, a grand retirement farewell ceremony held by the Group for Senior Engineer Gao Zunian was held in the conference hall on the third floor of the headquarters office building. More than 200 people attended the ceremony, including Lin Jinchi, Chairman of the Group, Dai Hongguang, Chairman of the Trade Union, the Director of the Labor Bureau, the Mayor of Wuniu Town, as well as heads of various departments of the company.
At the ceremony, company leaders including Lin Jinchi and Xu Xianfeng looked back on the senior engineer’s 18 years of work achievements and touching deeds, and praised his dedication to work and noble moral character. Other staff members also expressed their eagerness to learn from him and develop more competitive products for Daya Electric Group. Overwhelmed with emotions about his 18-year career, the senior engineer was moved to tears and still reluctant to leave his position. He also encouraged young employees to love their jobs, study hard, work diligently, and make greater contributions to China’s power industry. The atmosphere at the scene was warm and joyful with everyone chatting and laughing freely. Subsequently, the Chairman of the company presented the senior engineer with his retirement certificate and the company’s Model Worker certificate of merit.
